Taking Quizzes
How the quiz system works, scoring, perfect bonuses, AI explanations, and bonus challenges.
Quizzes are the fastest way to turn reading into real understanding. Each one is short (5 questions) but covers a range of difficulty.
How to take a quiz
- Open any module from the Learn page.
- Scroll to the Quiz section (or click the Quiz tab).
- Read the question and click your chosen answer.
- Get instant feedback — green for correct, red for wrong.
- Complete all 5 questions to see your final score.
Scoring
| Result | XP earned |
|---|---|
| Correct answer | +15 XP |
| Perfect score (5/5) | +50 XP (instead of 75) |
| Wrong answer | 0 XP, but AI explanation available |
| First quiz ever completed | May unlock the "Quiz Ace" badge |
When you get one wrong
Wrong answers aren't failures — they're learning moments. When you pick incorrectly you'll see:
- The correct answer highlighted in green
- A brief explanation of why
- A 🤔 Explain why I got this wrong button for a deeper AI breakdown
Bonus challenges (after a perfect score)
Ace the quiz (5/5) and a ⚡ Bonus challenge button appears. This generates a harder, AI-crafted question on the same topic — worth +20 XP if you get it right.
Hint: Each quiz question has a hint button. Use it if you're stuck — it won't cost you any XP.
Retaking quizzes
You can retake any quiz as many times as you like. Your completion is recorded after the first pass. Subsequent attempts still earn XP per correct answer (but not the first-time completion badge again).
